The villa
The Sunset Cave is the original — the bedroom carved straight into the volcanic rock, under a ceiling a local painter finished by hand. Across two levels, it holds a little more space and a second sleeping nook for a third guest.
The light does something particular here in the late afternoon, sliding across the hand-painted ceiling before it drops behind Therasia. We kept the cave exactly as it was and simply cared for it better.
